The pH value is a measurement for the hydrogen ion concentration. In order to determine the acid or basic character of an aqueous solution, the pH value measurement is used in many industrial branches. Through this a wide variety of processes can be monitored and finally controlled as well. The measurement is normally implemented using pH electrodes or pH combination electrode and a converter with optional integrated controller. The pH value measurement is carried out depending on customer specifications and is characterized by easy handling and compact size.
